Agile - Scrum - Self Organisation in Scrum

Self-Organisation in Scrum

Today’s business environment is too complex, fast-paced and always changing. The companies are shifting towards the self-organised teams and Scrum provides that benefit. Though, it’s a one way of achieving that goal within the company but plays a big role in the Project outcome. This consequently leads to the adaptive, highly responsive companies. The self-organisation method doesn’t mean that team members can do whatever they want but it facilitates the evolution of expected behaviours.

Another important factor to discuss over here is the Micro-Management of the team. Scrum doesn’t support micro-management but implements processes, checkpoints to make sure there is no ambiguity or deviations from the plan. So the management doesn’t play a direct authority role that prevents creativity and spontaneity.
